Tyre Inflation.

Hi, I've got a Surly Crosscheck and the tyres on it are currently a Touring/road type tyre. Could some tell me what they should be inflated to in terms of PSI please? I've currently got them at about 60 is that about right?

    Depends on your weight. Tyres should have a tiny bulge when you are sitting on it.

    Check on the tyre wall - it will show minimum / maximum pressures.

    In between those its your choice. Harder for speed, softer for a*se comfort.

    I use the iTire app from Vittoria, takes your weight, TPI, size, etc. into account and recommends pressures using the 15% method
