A friend and I are spending a week touring in France soon and we're hoping to go through Paris, past the Champs E and Eiffel Tower. Are there any cycle networks that run through the city? I've been trying to map a route but it looks pretty crazy! Any advice? Thanks !

Did it last year. Yes it's crazy. You can ride into Paris using the canal from the North?
Traffic is mental. No cycle paths, etc, that I notced. Cyclists are everywhere. No animosity from traffic. Watch the locals. They just dive into the melee and the traffic filters around them. Red lights are totally ignored by cyclists.

I found cycling in Paris easy - just get into the mix and keep your wits about you.
