My recently blinged up Basso Laguna Veloce 2013

Gone with nearly all Italian gear to keep in fitting with the heritage of the frameset
    Campag Scirocco 35's Schwalbe Ultremo ZXs Look Keo Max 2 pedals Deda zero 100 stem Deda zero 100 seatpost Rest is standard kit as per base bike build

Feels like I have shed quite a few KGs from the base bike build weight now

Looking forward to racing it on this weekend....

    Given it was 8-9kg to start with , maybe a few grammes but i doubt you've cut the weight by 30-50%

    Yes. Step on a set of bathroom scales. Once with bike in arms, once without, difference = weight of bike.

    Yes. Step on a set of bathroom scales. Once with bike in arms, once without, difference = weight of bike.

    Do what I did and buy an electronic luggage weighing thingy. They only cost about £6 from eBay.

    Recently got one of these myself. A bit less than 8.5kg for a 56, stock, with Keos - getting more than 1kg off would be going some!

    That said the stock wheels are 2kg :shock: , so a 300-500gm saving is easily achieved.
