The other half's Scott Contessa.

Not sure of the original spec, it came with v-brakes, but these are the changes I've made:

Wheels: Corratec (previously on my trance)
Brakes: Shimano Deore hydraulic discs
Pedals: Wellgo V8 copies
Grips: Octane One

    Looks like a good starter bike, what forks?
    Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.

    Dart 2's, believe they have a lighter spring in too. Not brilliant but for the rides she's done so far, they're adequate.

    Hmm dart 2's are not good, but yes at least the spring sounds OK, so better than nothing!
