Looking at doing some enduro events next year, I was just wondering and I'm not saying this is something I would do but does anyone ever do them on HT and if so how do they get on.

Cross-country kind of enduros, as in, very long distance trail riding? If so, you'll be fine on a hardtail.

Asking more out of interest, I will be wanting to do something that requires a full bouncer.

Personally, on long distance, XC style enduro events, I opt for a full suss, since after hours of riding, it leaves me less beaten up, and less tired.

I'd go fully sprung for the confort however peddaling a 6" heckler after 23 hours is hard work. If you're lucky enough to have two bikes then take them both and swap and change throughout the event.
    Advocate of disc brakes.

And some events clearly state you can only use one bike.
