Road cycling groups

Hi, I have been road cycling for about a year now and I am trying to find people to go cycling with.
I live in Hatfield Hertfordshire, does anyone know any groups that may be suitable or live close that want to go out.
I like to ride between 30-50 miles when I go out, challenging myself and pushing myself to my limit.

Join a club, and do some time trialling if you like to push yourself to the limit when riding. Enjoy the social rides with the club (you can't go flat out all the time!) and join a chain gang for other fast group rides. It does sound like a club is where you should be searching out ride partners to me...

Welcome to the forum. Finsbury Park CC has clubs runs which start off from Potters Bar on Sundays. If you'd like to come along and give it a shot, you're more than welcome.

I think Finsbury Park CC is a good shout - the meeting point in Potters Bar (at the cross roads near Shorter bikes) might work well for you.

I ride with Islington CC and we often pass through Potters Bar and a lot of our rides are in Hertfordshire. It's not really ideal for you, but it's another option if the other leads don't work out.
