HI quick question will a 9 spd SLX work as a 10spd?

    9 speed slx what?

    Front shifter and mech, yes, rear shifter is a no, rear mech only is you use a flat barred road shifter and not an MTB shifter.
    Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.

    How many different SLX parts are there atht could be called SLX 9spd?
    Chainset, chainrings, front mech, rear mech, front shifter, rear shifter, chain, saying 'SLX 9spd' was about as useful as saying 'Shimano'!
