New Rock Shox Pike adjusting travel

I was wondering if the new Pike in 160mm form could be shimmed down to 150 or 140mm?

The reason I ask is that I currently have a 150mm revelation and I would love a 150mm Pike but the option of increasing the travel for the alpine holidays to 160mm really appeals to me.

I know you can get the travel adjust model that goes from 160 to 130 but this does not interest me.

Thanks in advance,

Will

150 is ok, but no shorter.

There is a 150 version though... is that just 160 with a spacer?

They have changed the whole solo air system, most likely is a different air cart.

From talking to Simon at Loco tuning, he tells me the travel in Rock Shox solo air springs cannot be changed by adding or removing spacers. If you want t reduce the travel you'll have to buy a shorter air spring or one of their dual position air springs for on the fly adjustment.

The forks are starting to be delivered to retailers now but spare parts are not available yet but will be soon.
