... and rode my bike too.

300 miles ridden, 11201 metres climbed. Still a bit tired but had a great time despite completely overheating halfway up a 14% climb...

Couple of photos below - the rest are on the photobucket account at the bottom. Struggling to think of any other sports where you can get so close to the athletes that you can literally see that they've not shaved their legs that day :lol:

    Excellent stuff - great photos - well done. Couldn't agree more - attending AND riding at the Tour is probably the best 'fan' experience one can have.

    I've touched that Chris Hoy bike. Was down at our track a couple of weeks ago. I noticed a bit of a dent in one of the wheels. Was pretty light, but I wasn't allowed to have a go on it (even if I'd put some pedals on). :(

    Spoke to Ned soon after (genuinely) and he's a really nice bloke.

    And here's my mate Froome on the final blast to Mont St Michel on the Wednesday TT, just outside the bar where we watched him approaching on tv before popping out to say hello. He didn't wave though.

    good work, it's great fun isn't it?

    I did the 3 alpine stages with my two sons and we rode Alpe d'Huez, Col de la Madeleine and Le Semnoz.
