The two sellers are one and the same; "Jerade" is his BR username too.

I bought a bearing press from him a few months ago and will vouch for his professionalism and integrity. He's a true old-school gentleman and went the extra mile to get my custom order right.

I've not had the chance to use the press due to postponing (abandoning) the project but the tool's workmanship is top notch. I figured why pay a shop to do it once when I can buy the tool for the same price?

Or make one, it's only some stud bar, a few washers and nuts

+1... I've made a few tools of that nature(headset press, wheel stressing press).

I'll give it a try tomorrow, but I am somewhat technically inept, so don't hold your breath.

Here's a shot of my homemade wheel press or spoke de-stresser. It's a crude copy of one that was used in the ROLF Wheel factory. It uses part of my headset press to push down on the hub. It's kind of a work in progress and not all that useful for a guy who doesn't really build wheels very often.

Here's a shot of my "sort of" homemade headset press. It's a 1/2" fine thread, all thread rod with a couple of heavy washers, 2 thrust bearings(not really necessary, but nice), 2 oilite bushing(brass colored things), and a couple of heavy nuts. The oilite bushings were made by my uncle, a machinist, and even they aren't a requirement. This most likely could also be used be used as a bottom bracket press in tool although I don't use the press in kind.
