I'm new to the forum and to MTB in general so be gentle with me.
This morning a bought a pre loved Canondale Scalpel 800, but i notice that the fork need to be changed.
now i'm asking you which fork can i put? i need technical spec so i will be search it on line/ebay.
what do i need to replace it?
is something i can do by myself?
thanks for your input.

What fork is on there at the minute?0

and what makes you think it needs changing rather than some 'issue' fixing?
All the specs I can find suggest it has a fatty headshok which does make replacing it a bit 'trickier'.Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.0 -
Maybe the OP has noticed one of the fork legs is missing!0

I got the bike back from the workshop, the brake are fine now, the only issue is the fork seems it doesn't block any more, what you guys suggest to do?0

Am I missing something? Brakes?
What does block mean?I don't do smileys.

I took it in because of the brakes weren't working, but apparently the fork block doesn't work so now I was thinking to change fork0
