Hi, am new to bikes. I damaged the front wheel of my road bike
Hit a hole in the road and broke spokes and slightly bent the wheel.
I would like to buy a new wheel, anyone recommend a good wheel
That is similar to a Richie 6061 t6 but less expensive and a good site to buy it off.
Many thanks,
Big d

Do you have to buy a new wheel?

Unless the metal in the rim is actually creased, or really badly bent, the wheel can be trues and spokes can be replaced!

Given the questions you are asking, I'd suggest taking it to a decent bike shop, should only charge about £20-25 for the few spokes and truing....
Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.

    I'd tend to agree!
