So, what cars do we all drive?

There have been a lot of comments recently about Audi, BMW and 4x4 drivers , and how much many of us consider such cars (and their drivers) a menace. I thought it would be interesting to see how many of us actually drive these 'dreadful' cars :D

I'll start the ball rolling. I admit to driving a 'dreadful car'. It's a brand new Mercedes ML 350, in white, with upgraded wheels and things  So an expensive 4x4 that looks the business. I kind of hate myself, but I do love the car - a painful paradox. In my defence I genuinely make a point of being very considerate to other drivers and certainly all cyclists (much to their surprise, it has to be said!). I have never been a particularly aggressive driver. My previous two cars were Mercedes E Class Estates, the last one being a 350 Sport in white - so I have been a serial 'hypocrite' for over six years now!

I'm sure I will not be the only cyclist who drives these 'hated' cars. What about the rest of you?

Honda FRV, possibly the most practical car I have ever had, car history is a mix of the odd and the slightly gay to be honest as we tend to buy for the Mrs as she uses it for work and I dont need it during the week.
Life isnt like a box of chocolates, its like a bag of pic n mix.

  • I don't drive

If it's not a bicycle, then it's two wheels again in the form of a 180mph motorbike

Was this a thread intended for the OP to tell us all about his car?

As you already know, a Merc C350CDi estate. It's flipping lovely.

interestingly enough....if you have lane assist and adaptive cruise on the ML, it will drive itself if you put a pair of gloves on the steering wheel. Not entirely recommended!

That is simply wrong. There is never a time when roof bars are needed on a Porsche.
