Engine blew up on M62 :(

Driving from Liverpool to the midlands this morning and all of a sudden, bang, engine popped and clouds of smoke everywhere.
I couldnt do anything so decided to continue and drove all the way back, when I got back the engine cut out and of course wont be starting again :)

Its only the second time this has happened to me, the first when I was 19. Not a good feeling.
Living MY dream.

    I blew the head gasket on my first car, a Renault 5, on the M62! No temperature gauge, just an intermittent warning light like an elderly glow-worm which I ignored just once too often :shock: Good old RAC!

    Here's one I did earlier :shock: ...

    That's one end of an exhaust valve in the foreground and a hole in the top of the piston where I pulled it out from :shock:
    my isetta is a 300cc bike

    I thought this was powered by elastic bands. :lol:

    The two rubber bands are called 'Giubos'

    Sorry to hear about the engine VTech. I suspect with the cars that you drive a replacement isn't going to come cheap.
