Helping a mate go tubless just what to make sure before I start.

He's setup
Front DT Swiss M1800 tyre Fat Albert pacestar triple compound.
Back DT Swiss AM1900 tyre Nobby Nic Evo pacestar triple compound.

Questions:
Is there any difference in Stans removable core valves or DT Swiss tubeless removable core valves then price,
should I use DT Swiss as DT wheels?
Use Stans Yellow tape 25mm

When I did mine I used Stans valves and Bontrager rim strips as only £3 would this work on his?

Thanks
I only ride 'em, I don't know what makes 'em work!

Stans look a bit cheaper quality, more expensive valves have a rubber o ring for the lockring

That sounds like a Canyon set up, I'd be interested to know how you get on as I fancy trying tubeless on mine.

I've done it on my canyon nerve am. I used caffe latex on mine. No problems with their rim strip and valves. Just make site you clean the rims really well for the tape to stick well;)
