Hi all

Im looking at getting a new stem, and already know that I want a 65mm length. I know about getting the right diameter for handlebars too.

However, I was wondering whether any 65mm one will do, or if there is a specific type I need when it comes to connecting it at the headset end?

Cheers

Frame: canyon nerve xc 2012
Headset: acros AIX-03
Fork: fox float 32 120mm

Assuming ahead then you need it to fit the steerer and if the stack height will work.

I know how to install it etc, I just didn't know if any one would fit.
Sorry, I'm not quite understanding your post, is Ahead a type of standard, I've only read about threaded or threadless?
    Also, what is stack height?

    Cheers

Fit to the steerer as in its size! Probably 1 1/8. Stack height is the space it takes up top to bottom on the steerer tube.

Yep, will be 1 1/8", not much else you need to know. Stack height won't be an issue unless you have no spacers at the moment.

Ordered a race face xc stem and race faceatlas bars which were a bargain at £12.99
