Does anyone have any advise on converting from 3 rings down to a single ring up front?

I just don't use the other 2 so might aswell do away with them.

Is it as simple as taking off the 2 I don't want? Can I reuse all the bolts etc?
The bike is a 2012 Carrera kraken.

Thanks guys!

You will need shorter bolts or some spacer or a bash/guide ring.

You will also need a guide at the top if you don't reuse he front mech locked out and a bottom roller helps as well.

You can, though a proper single specific ring is more secure.
