hi bikeradar

just bought the elite fluid crono elastogel turbo trainer but the instructions arn't up to much. If you have come across this trainer is there any specific way of turning the locking handle as I can hardly turn it. There is a little plastic locking ring that goes over it but it doesnt seem to do anything, instructions say the ring locks the handle. Either way I cant turn the handle. e-mailed wiggle who I bought it from, but no further forward with suggestion think he was describing a different trainer!

looking forward to your relply

regards

Martin

I have an older model, but if it's the same then you slide the locking ring inwards before tightening. Once it's tightened you slide it outwards again to lock it.
    More problems but still living....

hi thanks for that. I managed to get it sorted between myself and my son. Had to take the handle completely off and get a pair of adjustable spanners and turn the the metal bar that the handle connects to. Once it got moving it was unlocking and closing easily. Looking forward to using this new trainer its supposed to be very quiet, so ill give it a whirl. Thanks once again

It is a super-quiet trainer - and surprisingly hard work. I average lower speeds on my trainer than I do on the road. According to my club-mates and others this is more than slightly unusual.
