how to stop follow topics ?

hi there was just wondering how to stop following threads as there is a few i do not ant to keep coming up when something new is said as i am in no longer need of it

    go to your control panel and look on the left.

    Manage attachments

    there is nothing in book marks or subscriptions I mean topics I have posted in but no longer want to get updates of?
