Hi Everyone,
Just looking for any feedback on this Entry level Bike? I like the lockout feature on the front forks.
Retail £360 Company discount scheme I can purchase for £270
Good buy yes or no? Experience with Brand.
Reviews are hard to find.
Cheers Paul.

It's functional, and will do a job.
Unfortunately the glory days of Diamondback are long-gone. Nowadays they sell online, catalogues and supermarkets. You won't find many reviews on 'official' bike websites as I don't think that they send their bikes for review.
Are you restricted to certain companies to buy the bike from?
I only ask because the goto bike at that price range will be a Rockrider.2007 Felt Q720 (the ratbike)
2012 Cube Ltd SL (the hardtail XC 26er)
2014 Lapierre Zesty TR 329 (the full-sus 29er)0 -
The fork is horrible.I don't do smileys.

Would I be able to persevere with the forks because the bike is new and I'm new to MB and don't know any difference or is it a case of dismiss the whole bike an go for another brand with better forks.
The suntours seem to be fitted to a vast amount of bikes even across the halfords range.
Do I really need lock out?
What is the best entry level fork should I be looking for? XCT seems to be next model up are they any better?
This is the second post stating bad forks.
I am restricted to www.cyclelife.com for company discount which is basically Raleigh on line.
But I am open to being pointed to a better alternative for my measly newbie beginner budget of £300+.0 -
Did you read the sticky? Got 300-500 to spend on a new bike?0

Shame only one retailer to choose from for price comparison and discount shopping.
Top of shopping list so far.0 -
Eh? It's an own brand if you like. If it is the best you can find then it is the only place to buy.0
