RIP cyclist on my commute

Was running late this morning having overslept, turned corner on outskirts of town to find cyclist being treated in road before I was turned around by police. Turns out it was fatal.

Feeling pretty bummed out. :(

    That's not good, sorry to hear that. RIP and condolences to all that know them.
    I'm not surprised you're feeling a bit down about it. I can only suggest that you try not to dwell on it too much, be thankful it wasn't you and ride carefully.

    Indeed. Think I'll spend some quality time with Mrs Caveman & Cavey Junior this weekend - any fettling that needs doing can wait.

    I didn't know the bloke but recognise the name, however it turns out it was a friend of the roadie I sit with at work. The perils of living on a small island.
