    The 4 miles or so that the Etape Cal goes up Glen Lyon would be considerably more entertaining if it kept going another 15 or more to Bridge of Balgie and then up the Lawers road - nice little climb to over 1800ft.
    Adding in a ride up and down the dam wall would really sort the men from the boys.

    ooh I dunno - the one time I have ridden up Ben Lawers (and it is a cracking climb!), I'd have happily thrown myself off the dam to end the suffering....

    Can't help thinking that it's not so much the riding down a 60 degree slope as what he's planning to do at the bottom that's impressive.
