BHF 2013 SDW event - date 20/07/13

BHF confirmed over the phone today the date of next years South Downs Way challenge as Saturday 20 July. I'm applying for the full 100 miler, anyone else planning to do it?

    I know this is a very delayed response but I was just about to post a similar thread and thought I would search first and this popped up!

    I rode the SDW last May with some friends over 3 days. It was a stinking hot weekend, we had 10kg backpacks (we camped) and one of our trio was not prepared for it at all. It was a tough old slog, so I thought the sensible thing to do would be to ride it again this year in one day!

    How is your training going? I have been (loosely) following the training guide suggested by the BHF website. I'm really looking forward to it even though I know it's going to big challenge.

    I'll be there with a mate or 2 - 4th time. Its an epic ride. should be good (but very hot). Hoping for under 12 hours. but just completing it in a day is worthy of praise.
