Monday theyve got a retro computer games night with a hip hop artist called mega ran and other acts, My mate is a bit geeky and we were having a mon seshanyway so it sounded like itwould be a bit lively.

And ive not noticed it being a sausage fest in ten feet, probably because im apparently too short to see over the heads of those midget valleys boys. My prowling days are long gone though as long as the music is good and theres a good selection of scotch to see me through to the point i lose control of my tastebudsthen im not fussed who is in there

Oi.... I love the Archers, ok im older than Waylander but im also way younger

If I'm honest I'm not really in a position to talk. Going out properly these days seems like such an effort, Potters Bar is a dive and it's a faff to get back to, athough once I'm out I make sure to enjoy myself. But generally I've got to agree with Waylander, pub and good beer.

Oh and as for the Archers it rather kicked off the other night didn't it :shock:

But how have you made the biggest mistake you could possibly have when you both wanted different things? Had anything really changed or is this just fear that they have moved on and you haven't? If she has moved on as quickly as that then don't waste your time thinking about her. It seems harsh but it's how I have dealt with things. Things happen for a reason. If it was supposed to be then you would have both worked at it and made something happen. My coping mechanism has been my work and spending time with my family. Hence despite absolutely loathing weddings I am throwing myself into helping my sister with hers, working ridiculous hours, being at the farm on weekends and running again. Anything to help stop me thinking about what I have done with my life and where my relationships have gone wrong. Yeah go out and ride your bike loads if that's what makes you happy but don't forget there is a whole world of different people out there. Yeah I love a quiet pub sometimes, and I hate the fuss of getting ready to go out (and it's worse getting ready to go out if you are female because there is this apparent need for you to be primped and preened to the nth degree when all you want to do is sit around in your jeans and hoody) but sometimes it's a bit of fun doing it and meeting new people.

Now would you like a pipe and tartan blanket to go with your beer, fire and the Archers?
