what do you guys make of this...? now i know for £200 it isnt going to be phenomenal....but for a fixie pottering about...is it worth it?

Looks like it's made of cheese but it'll do for a pub throw around. I wouldn't personally want to fix it but keep it SS.
Then again I'd personally keep a look out for a second hand spesh langster instead.0 -

You'll then have enough cash to buy some full guards, which will actually fit this bike - unlike many fixies. For this reason it makes a good commuter / pub bike. I had one for this & it was perfect - just change the brake pads & it works fine.
