To be honest, they will go straight on ebay and I will fit a set of Deores and change the tyres for something like Racing Ralphs which should be a good city/off road compromise.Transition Patrol - viewtopic.php?f=10017&t=130702350

Still way overpriced in my opinion. Don't know how they get away with it - don't have to fit a sus fork or geared drivetrain, hence saving money, yet you still get the parts off a £300 bike.
For £600 I would build one myself, or buy a quality hardtail and sell the sus fork and drivetrain, replacing it with a carbon fork and SS kit.0 -

What would you recommend for a budget rigid single speed 29er custom build?
I quite like the idea of the Charge Cooker frame but at £350 it isn't cheap though it is made from quality steel.Transition Patrol - viewtopic.php?f=10017&t=130702350 -
The frame looks to be quite heavy going on the weight of full builds - I'd be getting a standard alu frame and fitting an SS kit to it. or the OnOne Scandal. Then adding an Exotic Carbon fork and finishing kit, Merlin sale wheels, cheap hydros and tyres of your choice.0
