Grease Is The Word

More car related than bike really, but I am about to put a new battery into my car and will need to grease the terminals. From what I can gather white lithium grease is what I need to apply.
Question is, would the Finish Line teflon grease I have for my bikes do the job? Do I need to use a more car specific type grease, or is a good grease a good grease?
Thanks for any advice.

Teflon doesn't conduct electricity0

Most car maintenance books suggest a thin coating of petroleum jelly. aka Vaseline.
But any grease would do; it's not conducting anything it's just a surface coat to prevent corrosion. The clamps are already attached to the battery terminals.0 -
Thanks keef, I did actually use Vaseline. Guy in my local garage told me the same.0
