Exactly my feelings too! It's too cold and windy to go out on the bike. :(

Im gonna thrash the crosser about for an hour in the snow snd call it a ride

    Turbo for me :(

Yep me too :( Have nt had a proper outdoors ride yet this season!

Warming up in The hague a bit, but it's blowing the flags off of the flagpoles!

Me neither. Tried to go out yesterday got one block and the wind pushed me into a parked car and that was in town.

That group of Boonen and Cav isn't going to stay away surely, unless no one else is bothered.

Right better get lunch organised before the coverage starts.

Much as I love bacon, through some very high level and sophisticated scientific testing*, I've come to the conclusion that it really is a poor pre-ride food-stuff. Think it's the salt, apart from anything...
    Smashing a chicken? ...I can't comment.

*whenever eaten it pre-ride always then felt pony on ride. Ergo, bacon=pony.

A few shots of today's race shown. How anyone can be out there without something over their ears I do not know!

how odd, always thought that after a disasterous sportive a few years ago, now steer well clear of bacon pre ride.

So this isnt on UK TV at all then? blast, just have to settle for catalunya and flicking over to criterium international. pity though, this looks a good field.

cool websites for the classics, nice route map attached...

No steams yet? I know the weather isn't great but surely these races have been run in worse in the past?

I think Greipel would rather have stayed in bed.

Interviewer asks Cav if the shortened distance will suit him, he scoffs that it is a flat 50k that has been taken and that he is 27 and can probably handle the distance.

OK now we're live with 98 k to go.

All of Sky seem to be in the front group of 50. No one of note seems to be missing.

Good interview. He has a funny accent.

It was terribly cold in London just walking about this morning. Racing in the weather out there for 5 hours must be brutal.

Going down in my estimation. Becoming a real softie. Needs to find some of his old grit and detrmination.

Hey! I have a very nice back pair of those I use for the cycle to work. :o

He's hardly racing in them and if you have weak inner ears you need to stop cold wind going in even if you're just walking around. Ear infections are not nice and can lead to loosing hearing permanently.
