For those of you thinking 'I fancy a little mountain bike ride' - don't. It's torture.

Just did 5 miles at an average speed of 9MPH. That was on a road to get to a little trail.

Grrrrrr.

Road - Dolan Preffisio
MTB - On-One Inbred

I have no idea what's going on here.

You do realise should any of them from the dark side read that post it will be used as a stick with which to beat roadies infering we're a bunch of wussies, sissys and softies.

The fact is, we can ride considerably faster than them. I think that wins the argument ;)

Pretty rubbish. It wasn't a purpose-built trail, but it looked good. Went around it for 5 minutes, then was so knackered from actually going there that I had to go again :(

  • Surely you should be driving to the trail in your car, then poncing around on your bike for a while before driving home.

Admission: I occasionally ponce around on my mountain bike.
