Just to checking I am not being a dope....
I bought a set of Nukeproof Deore pads - standard pack comes with 2 pads and a spring. The spring doesn't fit around the side of the pads and is too small. I have opened another pack and its the same deal. Is this "normal"?

The spring clip should fit around the outside of the braking surface, but not around the entire pad unit itself. Try either sliding the pad into the spring clip from the bottom or try placing the pad directly into the front of the clip. If neither work, try using your old clips from the current pads in your brakes, assuming that you have some already.0

Got it sorted thanks. Dodgy batch of pads. Two sets in a row had springs that didn't fit.0
