It made me laugh out loud, I cant remember it verbatim but it was.

Could the prime minister please confirm that ATOS have declared Richard the third fit for work?

I once had a colleague who had been repeatedly kicked and stamped on crushing vertabrae in his lower spine and rupturing his spleen. He could of claimed back the money for attending his ATOS level 5 meeting.

When He did not the doctor asked him how hed got there? He said he d took the bus and then walked approximatley 200 yards.

He then got told he would have to return to a full range of duties or be passed as medically inefficient and layed off.

He was a 54 year old Prison officer with 28 years service.

Not really fella, you just have to appreciate that ATOS are the ones charged with judging an individuals ability to work or not; or more importantly claiming benefit.

Having had dealings with them through my workplace I appreciate what a totoal bunch of incompetent w@ankers they are. They should certainly not be in a position to make life changing decisions.

Indeed, It wouldn't suprise me if they'd passed Richard fit for work.

When someone was handing out sense of humours?
  • That made me laugh.

One trick ATOS do is offer the 'candidate' a drink, if they take it they tick a box saying 'eligible for manual work'. They are also going to test every year or so - even if you;re blind - haha - come on mr higgins you're not trying hard enough to see, we may have to stop your benefits.

  • Just read in the paper about a lady who had to attend a disability tribunal.
It was on the 4th. floor.
    She was in a wheelchair.
Staff at Acorn House Basildon Essx said she wasn't allowed to go to the fourth floor for Health and Safety reasons.
She would not be able to use the fire escape!!!!

Catch 22 you didn't turn up for your tribunal therefore no benefits.

    Pure Monty Python.

Wouldn't it be simpler to just give everyone the same out of work benefit?

Am I right in thinking, this is just the headline (small) benefit payment. The bigger tax credits, housing benefit etc are paid even to those in work?

Well he could walk 200metres,so he won't be able to claim PIP (as DLA is now called).

Whether that makes him a worke/shirker or just another member of the royal family, I don't know?
