Anybody know if you can get anything smaller than a 39t inner chainring on a 130BCD - SRAM Red?

Struggling with the local terrain on the Std chainset. :x

Cheers,
FJ

38 maybe, wont make much difference though. Just get a 27 or 28 tooth cassette.

I did think about changing the cassette, but then saw the price of the Red cassette's, but could take a look at the Force cassette's I suppose.

Just preferred the idea of changing the chainset. I suppose CRC are doing the compacts relatively cheap at the moment, so could opt for that route as well and sell the Std, although I do like my Specialized crankarms which would be no use on the compact.

    Thanks for the input.

Cornwall with a standard double up front no ta matey, SRAM do a WiFLi which allows you to run a MASSHOOF dinner plate at the back making up for the lack of compact or triple at the front.

It's called the climbs kit to make it sound more manly and less well .....ghey!

That'll be your cheapest option i should imagine.

Shimano 10spd cassettes work just fine with Red and vice versa
