Was in a hurry to stick my cycling gear in the wash last night. Forgot I still had my Garmin in my pocket!

Luckily I always stick it on a 30 delicates wash so it doesn't spin much or last long. It looks like it might be OK as it still turns on!

I will be gutted if I've knackered it. Was an Xmas pressie to myself

Please post your route. I'm going to wash my Garmin and see if I can beat your 30 cycle.

I can see retaining my place on the leader board is going to be expensive
  • Sensible reply. Pack it in rice** and leave overnight. the rice will draw out the moisture.

** if you've got any of those little silca packets that the stick in stuff. they work better.

So good I`m going to have to find some way to work that into normal conversation.
    It might take some time
  • Next time, should there be a next time, switch it on and go to 'Settings', then 'Bike Profile' and see if you can set it to

    Hope it still works.
