Hi all,

Looking to get a new pair of clipless shoes, and have narrowed it down to the following:

Shimano M162
5.10 Maltese Falcons
Shimano AM45

Does anyone have any experience of these? All are sold as trail shoes, I currently have some 5.10's so I know amazing the soles are for hiking, but worried about the stiffness when used as a clipless shoe.

Any advice/thoughts would be great!

Thanks!

AM45's are more of a downhill shoe, quite heavy and bulky. Very good if thats what you want though. 5:10 shoes are good in the dry but are very absorbant, the only good thing about 5:10 shoes is the very grippy sold which is irrelivent when your using spd's.
The M162 are much better as a trail / xc shoe.
