Always worth a shot...

Looking for a Senior Sys Admin to replace ours who is moving onto pastures new.

The IT team consists of 4 support and 4 dev spread over 3 sites & 100+ users. I'm interested in someone who would ultimately take charge of the support team providing 24/7 backup to a 24/7 business

Skills needed:

Win Server Admin
IIS
SQL
AD/GP
VM
Linux/Red Hat
Apache
Networking - DNS/DHCP switches routing etc

Company is 2nd largest Sameday Express Courier service in London and we're looking to take that number one spot in the coming year. Our own innovative and market leadning IT underpins everything that we do and we are committed to maintaining and growing on that lead. Which is why we need a strong support team and the right person for the job.

Interested, then PM me. Know someone who might be, PM me their details. Immediate start. Based in Aldgate.

Thanks

Puff

Which is why you're asking communters who wear cameras on their hats.

If its any help I'm good at turning things off and on again.:lol:

Don't know what any of those things - apart from a red hat and apache (helicopters) - are but I am a fast learner. Can start next week.

All on good form tonight I see :D

There is a chance that someone who reads these forums is suitably interested and experienced & I'd much prefer to give the job to a cyclist then at least I would have a common interest to talk to them about.

It used to be that it was mainly IT people on forums as they were the ones who had access to the internet and nothing to do at work!

I know of a couple of people looking, but I think they would want over £60k for full time permanent....very experienced people. let me know if this is within your pay scale and I will pass it on.

The senior bit is the only part of that that I can do, or even understood. That makes me 33% qualified for the job.
