Hi - the freehub in my ritchey rock comp wheels (9 speed) has gone - does it matter what I replace it with?

edit: the hub is novatech - that's all the info it has on it - I bought the bike second hand, and so cannot go back to a bike shop, plus the local bike shop told me they don't stock 'that sort of thing'

any advice on how to sort this out?

cheers

MM

talk to the shop that sold it.

    freebodies are hub specific.

+1 take it to the shop who sold it to you
if not find a bike shop with a good rep and take it to them

yes again take it to the shop that sold it or to another good one.

there is no way anyone can tell you what to get with out the hub.

I know of about 5 freebodies that may fit. but again they may not.
