Yoga mat from the Bay. £5-£10 tops. Works a treat.

i wear a compression/base layer and found it holds the moisture thus avoiding all the drips onto the ground
  • Any type of cheap exercise mat should do, just need to check the size before you buy.
Pain hurts much less if its topped off with beating your mates to top of a climb.
  • No because my turbo is in my garage, but have you considered a "towel"?

Really thick ,waterproof, think mine is 20mm thick ,,,Not as cheap as a yoga matt but will last forever ,also urine resistant

depends if you mean to cut noise or to minimize mess?

To cut noise I am planning to buy a paving slab to put the turbo on and put a rubber mat under that

I have carpet in the garage and found an old yoga mat the wife had discarded. All free !

In terms of sweat, have a microfibre towel which in place on the bar and top tube and mop myself down with. If warmer I use 2 ! Plus a cheapo fan.

I use a foam Camping mat, less than a fiver.
