Decided that it's time to completely change my MTB, rockhopper into my commuter.

Project is going ahead,just need all the parts.

List so far.

You know that the carbon one is for 29"/700c wheels, right?

Haha, you're doing the exact same thing I've done with my old hopper.

By the way, I'm currently looking to replace the existing wheels on mine for a set of 700c CX wheels so I can run proper road tyres with them (well, 25mm road tyres anyway).

I would also forget skinny tyres. 1.6 upwards are much more comfortable. I used 1.95 on my pub type bike.

My commuter is actually a Hybrid frame (700c) but will all MTB components including 26" wheels (with 1.5" road slicks), it runs Onza rigid forks.

1.1" tyres may well see you running out of gears on a 42T front ring, you'll want probably 46 at least.
