truvativ crank remover

i need to take my cranks off to get a new bb but i stupidly just went and bought a crank remover tool thinking they were all the same size, however the 1 i bought is way to big. what size do i need for truvativ crank.

Depends on the model of Truvativ crank. Should say on it, or post a pic.

I know that some of the Truvativ Firex models require a bigger adaptor face on the extractor as some of them have quite large diameter hollow axels. But get a pic/link of your chainset and the same for the tool you bought then we can provide more specific help.

If the end is too big, it may be sized for hollow axles, in which case that bit will usually pull off (magnetic) exposing one suitable for square taper.
