Greetings Maggots,

Halfway through the longest week I have had in a long time
Schools reopened today, so the traffic was a little manic this morning too.
Other than that, still unproductive here as many minions are still on sun soaked holidays..
Wishing you all a pleasant Wednesday..

    Mornin' alcohol dependents,

Work today is the ongoing presentation build for the potential customer. Yay! At least is keeps close to a source of coffee plus hot-and-cold running media player. My day could be worse.

There will be no bacons today, which sucks, but I'll survive.

Onwards! To caffiene! And death by powerpoint!

Cold start to the day here. I had to de-ice the car inside as well as outside.

Still waiting for my new bike to arrive so some time will be spent trying to chase this up.

    On the down side;
    a. I have a meeting to attend this afternoon which I know will result in a lot more work for me and
    b. the shortbread has run out

Tea by itself it is then

    Later......

Went to see a friend last night, he distracted me while watching Red October and unexpected things happened
    Today is the usual.
Tonight is gym time, although my arms still hurt from yoga on Monday so not sure how much I'll achieve.
On the upside I have 2 slices of banana and walnut loaf for mid morning snack.

    Morning gang

Taking the day off today to wait in for parcels, hopefully the superstar order of lots of little things and the on-one order of one big thing should be arriving today, preferably this morning as I fancy playing hockey later. On the subject of hockey, following a mini tournament at the weekend the local club has asked me to keep for their 1st team so I'm pretty happy about that.

This evening will be heading out into London to get nicely pissed and have some fun

    Morning Scuttlers.

Sounds less Red October and more Up Periscope....aaaaanyway.

Been reminded this is my first anniversary at Arriva and as such i can't be got rid of under probation which is positive. I'm on standby today so hopefully get a decent finish too.

Its all the phallic imagery of submarines that does it – long, hard and full of seamen.

  • Morning Losers!

Got into work early again today, but seem to have finally tamed the Macs, meaning my life is now somewhat easier. That said, IT have just come up with 'an even better long term solution' God help me.

Curry for tea tonight, and if my lights turn up, a road ride.

    Laters!

    Afternoon mongs

    Today is meh.

I booked one of the pool cars to go round as many sites as possible this afternoon doing nearly 250 miles. One of the customer support people crossed my name out so that they can drive 20 miles to a local office this afternoon, but strangley left at 8.30. There's shops nearby so I wonder what they're actually doing?

Waiting to hear back from more job agencies (6 more applications this morning) and also getting through day 9 of the dryathlon.
Visit Clacton during the School holidays - it's like a never ending freak show.

Afternoon all....yes you guessed it I am meant to be cleaning again!

I bought wine, but only a bottle of white, I was standing in ASDA looking rather confused for a good while last night. I have decided instead to ply him with rum if he decides he wants to drink on a school night!

Need suggestions for a film to watch tonight now. And no, not Red October before you all suggest it!

    Evenin' 'Tards,

Been working like a barsteward, first time I've been on here since the weekend. But will get better by the end of this week and will start riding into work again at last. Also starting to get ideas about skiing holidays :)
