Enduro / All mountain frame for near enough £1000?

Can anyone recommend a frame for around £1k that could handle moderate DH runs whilst still being able to pedal uphill? Something like the Orange alpine 160, but a frame/rear shock combo only as I have some other components from my last bike ready to fit.

Could possibly look second hand too, so if there are any that would be around £1k used i'd be interested in hearing opinions of those.

    A fair deal, but hardly an enduro bike, too steep and the shock setup compromises performance. A good deal if you want a long travel xc machine, the enduro would be a better bet. Also I'm not surprised that frame is on sale, for a huge brand like specialized the price of that frame is extortionate!! But I bet some numpties payed full whack for it because of the name.

    So, nuke proof mega am and the Titus el guapo both look good, probably swaying more towards the mega after reading some reviews. Not much in it though. Then I noticed the cove gspot for sale on CRC for less than 1200...

    Can't find many reviews of the gspot, would anyone recommend one?
