I was about to buy a rr8.1 from decathlon but i've had my head turned by the CUBE analog 29.
I cant find any online reviews for the CUBE. Anybody out there got an opinion on it ?
Is it worth GBP130 more than the RR8.1 ?

Thanks

  • Thanks for the advice. I'm going to pickup my RR8.1 tomorrow morning.

My height puts might right at the transiton between Large and Extra large [6ft1 32 inch leg].

I've reserved a Large but the shop also has Extra Large in stock so I'll have a chance to try both before I buy.

If your a simialr height and got a RR8.1 i'd be interested to know what size you chose.

    Thanks

  • I have tried the medium and it just felt too small.

I've also tried the XL. This felt OK from a reach point of view but when I stradled the crossbar it was a little bit close to my undercarriage! I'm hoping the L will be just right.

  • I am just under 5' 10" and went for an 8.1 RR in large and it is perfect. Fantastic value too.
