Yellow is the new Black.

  • Like this a lot and looking forward to seeing it fully built up.
  • Good to see some proper wheels... :D

They actually look OK... I was expecting them to look wrong with the fat tubes, but they don't... it just looks like you're not going for the Milan-Sanremo next season but the Paris-Roubaix instead!

    Virtually finished.

I will get it outside against the obligitory white background and put the wheels and crank in the correct position etc for a proper finished pic when I get it 100%.

Great looking bike, almost has the look of a Pinarello without all the wavy stays and forks.

@ Yellow - thanks mate, would look a whole lot better if I could take a decent photo. When its in good light it really pings into life, the Yellow really is well yellow 8)

Interesting wheels those AC 420s. When I was scolling down and they were on the Astra I thought "that's the first colour scheme where the 420s look really good"

Then I scrolled down and Marlon Brando in Apocalyse Now sprang to mind ....the horror.....

Well that particular image is out of date. The CAAD now wears these:

    So you can rest easy.

So finally took the Basso out on Saturday for it's first 'on the road' outing and wish I had not.

Nothing wrong with it..far from it, but riding my winter bike on Sunday afterwards really showed how much better the Basso is.

So need to get a new winter bike now :-)

  • So, Smidsy, sell me your ACs and you have some funds towards a new winter hack! :D
