You'll love the vapours. I bought them as a Christmas present to myself and they're brilliant. Mother got me a smoothie maker I was after. But then she got me a head torch as well. Think that will be put in the cupboard for a while.

A Specialized Venge Comp which I've already upgraded to DuraAce, a new Castelli Mortirolo jacket, Wiggos book, Sportful overshoes and my last treat is yet to come, some new shoes :D I only dropped a couple of subtle hints about the Venge.

Novatec front hub and IRD Cadence rim...just need to get some spokes and I'll be sorted! It'll be the first time my front and rear wheels have had matching rims for about two years!

  • Feck all ; worst christmas ever. Asked for some MTB shoes, but failed to be specific, and received Shimano "leisure" shoes. Led Zep DVD I'd asked for had magically transmuted into a CD, and that people, was that. i know Christmas isn't supposed to be about what you receive, but I have been left severely disgruntled by the lack of anything to play with. <sulk>

  • Pair of Altura overshoes and Timex ironman watch from the lovely Mrs CR. Needed the watch because, although my garmin edge does all sorts of wonderful things I don't think it will tell you the time.
Tried out the overshoes today, plenty of water around for that, very good, though slightly embarrassed to say that after I set off I noticed that the Endura logo was on the inside so I had put them on the wrong feet, I don't think anyone noticed though. Not cool!
