Hi,
I've recently been using flats on my h/t after being a spd user for years ! And I'm liking them alot. Does anyone make some low profile shin or shin/calf pads ? I'm not after some full on down hill gear just something that will protect me if I slip and get a shin full of pins
Thanks.

That's what I use. Neoprene with a thin plastic shin guard - more akin to a football shinpad than DH armour.
And useful in this weather - they are keep my legs nice and warm.2007 Felt Q720 (the ratbike)

Or a cheap pair of football shin pads.0
