Bought a Deda Scuro RS the other day from Planet-X but changed my mind and got this today instead.
Should be done tomorrow :D - Edited and now finished
Chorus 11 speed
Ritchey WCS Carbon Curve bars
Ritchey WCS C260 stem
Ritchey WCS Wet Black post (although needs replacing as very scratched from previous frame)
Mavic Ksyrium SR wheels with Michelin Pro4 tyres
Fizik CX Braided World Champ saddle

Stem will never be slammed as such a short head tube (for me anyway) but will prob lose about 15mm.

Frame with front and rear mech hanger and seat collar 1050gr
Fork 390 uncut

Weighed today with pedals (Time RCS Carbon) 7200gr

Thanks to Duncan at Planet-X for swapping my existing gear over quicker and cheaper than my usual lbs, £75 while you wait as long as you give them a bit of notice.
Also met "big Frank" who said they've got some good Italian stuff on the way.....

Small, they're proper compacts like the old Giant TCRs.
44 seat tube and 52 top (if horizontal of course).

  • I have chorus 11s to fit to my s2. Getting round to doing it in a cold garage after a tough week is a challenge itself!
  • by the time you cut that steerer tube you will have a free spare seat post! Looks nice!

Looks sweet I considering one of these as a change from my cr1 which I've had for a few years . Could I ask how tall you are I'm 5ft 8 and was considering the medium ?

i'm half inch shorter than you.
I'll be using a 100mm stem with pretty short reach bars and prob 25mm spacers for now.
Saddle height is 70cm from bb centre to top of saddle.
Depends on how aggressive a position u like but most likely a small, i think people often ride bikes a bit to big for them.
In derby if u want a look.
Bikes aren't as upright as they look, its just the compact geometry that makes them seem so..
