Finished my new build - this will probably be my bike for a few years to come now. Really pleased with it although i think i need to change the stem for a slightly longer version.

The best looking (least ugly?) Cervelo frame by miles! Wish I'd never sold mine really...

    Nice pictures.

I love the fact that these 'race bikes' can be used for allsorts of riding.

Yes, they look a bit strange with the saddle bag, normal wheels etc, but you can ride them all day can't you :)
  • Why does everyone always mention "slammed stem" whats so great about having one?

In theory it's makes for a stiffer set-up than a spacer tower. Then there's the aesthetic. Then there's the lower position which is in theory more aerodynamic. All of which is useless if having the stem slammed puts you in a position you find uncomfortable.

In reality it's a non-issue. Just a 'macho' trend people have cottoned on to (a common thing in any forum). It's about as relevant as stating you have a large penis.

PS please don't get us to explain what a nice cockpit is...

What - you mean daft deep rim carbon wheels that make the bike look like it has tractor tyres on it?

(They look much better without such wheels......)

    How come your selling it?????

Man... if I had what your asking right now, i would snap it off you!:cry::cry::cry::cry::cry::cry:
  • I'm just not feeling cycling at the moment, maybe it's a combination of a few things but I just find it hard to get motivated to get out lately. Since Tenerife I've probably only done about 100 miles!
Maybe the love will return when it's a bit warmer, hence I'm not desperate to sell in case I find myself returning to the sport again in a couple months or so.

    Just a bit disillusioned atm
  • Looks great Cornish-J, a really nice looking machine.

What kind of bar tape have you used?

I wouldnt sell it mate, not becauase your not feeling it at the moment, as soon as the warmer weather comes out you will feel totally different and be gutted you sold one of the nicest bikes!! I truely would snap it off your hands if i could, but funds arent there at the moment! :( Unless you want to swap for an R5???

Chin up, cycling is amazing, everytime i go out i realize i love the sport, its just getting out in this weather thats the hardest!
