    Just got a PM from the man (LA) himself. Said he has a lifetime ban from the forum for badmouthing Clare Balding or Vicky Pendlton 8 or so years ago on this here forum (in its former guise). Seems strict, but apparently he was encouraging others to do the same and forced a lot of fans off the forum and lost them both countless twitter followers in recent years.
