Going for 2nd visit soon, any recommendations of best restuarants you have been in and best night clubs?

Cut, or failing that, any of Wolfgang Puck's other eateries.

Clubs will depend what music you like, but the obvious choices are Tao or Pure (get a cabana on the patio). Clubbing in Vegas isn't a patch on Ibiza though.

    Where are you staying?

  • staying in mgm...not expecting much roomwise, but heard its ok. last time stayed in the wynn, so been spoiled a bit, but didn do it justice as it was on the end of a 2 week cali road trip so was knackered. know mgm wont be a patch on wynn, but its the most reasonable for the price that my m8s could afford. but we dont plan on spending much time in our rooms, apart from sleeping and maybe if we can follow prince harry's lead!

music isnt really a factor for our lv club choice, just after the best buzz/atmosphere/night out. last time went in XS in encore and it was immense. heard good things about the club in the cosmoplitan and tao, mgm is meant to have a good club too according to write ups,. but are after any recommendations as will likely prebook before we go so want peoples own opinions. not sure if its worth getting tables, most say do it, but not sure its worth it. any thoughts?

ate in a ciuple of fantastic places in the wynn, but cant remmebr which ones! cut looks good, the thing is there is so much choice in restaurants and clubs, we want to make sure we make the most of them. unfortunately as we are going in december it will be freezing so no pool parties for us!

    not after titty bars tbh!
  • Marquee in the cosmopolitan is/was really good and haze in aria was up there, also worth a go is the coyote ugly bar in new York new York.
I think it depends when you catch it really as I went to Tao when I first went and it was amazing yet last time I went it seemed a bit flat.

Have fun I'd give my right nut to go back
  • went coyoye ugly last time, literally full of clunge! a lot of older american cl*nge admittedly, but thats was quite good for 4 young english blokes!...cosmo club was recommened by the wynn cocncierges but we got distarcted on the bj tables in cosmo when going, so never bothered in the end. never went in aria last time, for some reason we thought it was a non gaming hotel so never eben notherd to look...think we confused it with vdara. but will definetly have a look this time.

is the rio any good casino/nightlife wise? never went last time as its off strip but again have heard decent things about it.
  • I never got to rio to be fair I also wanted to get over to the palms but it's so easy to just stay on the strip. Next time I think I'll definitely try and stray a bit further

Its huge and I met a very famous american singer in there - she bought me a drink. Didn't know who she was until a very excited bar man told me!

    Have fun.

Go full fear and loathing at the circus circus. Not sure where to get ether from though, you're on your own there.

I'm fairly certain it's not too hard to come across in Vegas!

Having been to Vegas a couple dozen times, I'm well and truly over it. That said the best buffet is still the M, which is about 7 miles off the strip. The seafood dinner is well worth the money (even though it's gone up a tenner since it opened) and includes all the beer and wine you can drink. Last time I was there I demolished several plates of Alaskan snow crab's legs before eating my body weight in New York strip steak. I finished it off with all 12 flavours of gelato. The Bellagio is a close runner up, and their breakfast buffet is awesome too.

Get off the strip and see some stuff. Red Rocks is fantastic and has great hiking, the Hoover Dam needs to be seen, and if you can take a helicopter trip to the North Rim of the Grand Canyon. Otherwise catch some shows. I've seen most of the Cirque du Soliel's and they're well worth the money.

  • I have been to Bas Vegas and had a Nando's, does that count ?
I don't mean to brag, I don't mean to boast, but I'm intercontinental when I eat French toast...
  • You could try the Heart Attack Grill if you're feeling up to it. I've been to Vegas once but couldn't find the place :-)

It's in the downtown part of Vegas next to the zip wire. We saw it while wondering around and ironically somebody had just had a heart attack in the place!! They were wheeling him out through a rather large crowd of people that had come to see what the fuss was all about

The original was in Tempe, Arizona. Way hotter chicks (thanks to ASU) than the one in LV.

I had a burger and flatliner fries there about 8 years ago and there's still some of it sitting in my colon. Mind you they'd run out of buns so very kindly wrapped the whole thing in bacon instead.

Club Ra is good in Luxor hotel, had a manumission vibe to it (trapeze artists etc), not sure if it's still open now though?
