Cassette mixing?

As per the title,can i mix two sram cassettes as i am finding my third gear a bit long so want to add a tooth to make it a bit more easier.any help would be great

    Not sure what you mean by 3rd gear.

    If you mean the 3rd largest cog/ring then I don't think you can change this as the top ones are fixed together in a block, presumably to allow all the sloping edges/profiles to work as intended to help in the gear change.

    It wold be possible to change the whole cassette though..

    If the 3rd is too long, why don't you use the 2nd?
